Responsibilities

  • This is a learning role, where new associates are working with their team and proactively building skills and proficiencies in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Representative.
  • Must successfully complete new employee training.
  • Makes the most of their time on shift, consistently seeking out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
  • Build proficiencies related to serving and selling T-Mobile products to our customers, while providing a best-in-class customer experience by:
    • Helping our customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey with consultative selling and services.
    • Exploring individual needs and provides hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
    • Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers and sharing your expertise.
    • Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
  • Approach service and sales needs with care, patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Become skilled and be able to consistently demonstrate the ability to balance customer service experience and performance goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED Required. Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales or customer service industry (previous Wireless retail sales, preferred).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
  • Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
  • Team player that can work along peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
  • Can effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check (will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all laws).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Spanish Bilingual Preferred.
