As a Retail Associate Manager with Verge Mobile, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience by assisting the Retail Store Manager with leading, coaching, and developing the team of store retail sales representatives. Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Support the store manager in leading, developing and motivating the sales team in creating a positive and productive environment.
  • Assist in the overall store operations while being accountable for personal and store sales as well as the development of a high-performing, motivated team. Must meet and exceed all sales performance KPIs.
  • Effectively managing customer store traffic and balancing wait times.
  • Stay current on all products, services, and promotions, and assist the Store Manager in educating others of all relevant information.
  • Assist the Store Manager with recruiting new talent to the team.
  • Support store operations and ensure compliance with the guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile, which includes merchandising, inventory/shrinkage, and customer service. Must pass all T-Mobile and Verge Mobile store audits.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED and two years of previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail sales or customer service industry (previous wireless retail sales, preferred).
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sales and sales management experience.
  • Operational and financial management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Capable of building trusting relationships.
  • A can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
  • Team player that can work well with staff and store leader, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
  • Balance customer needs and performance goals effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You are at least 18, authorized to work in the U.S., and can pass a background check.
  • Must be able to register and receive identity verification with CLEAR upon hire.

What the Job Demands Physically and Mentally:

 

Physical Demands of the Job: A Retail Associate Manager associate job involves a lot of physical activity, including:

    • Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
    • Lifting and Moving: Required to lift (up to 25 lbs) and move boxes of merchandise, fixtures, or other items.
    • Bending, Kneeling, and Reaching: Tasks like stocking, assisting customers, or retrieving items from lower shelves require these movements.

Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and staff.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Manage high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Other Skills: Beyond physical requirements, you will also need strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
