Our growing retail business is seeking a Territory Manager who can create productive working atmospheres in our stores and coach, promote or hire store managers who are committed to the company's success.


The successful candidate will need:

  • Multi-Unit Experience
  • Come from a Sales, Retail, Customer Service or a Food Service background
  • Manage remote teams or coach team based on daily goal attainment

The Territory Manager is responsible for creating the overall vision for each store in their district, establishing benchmarks for store management teams and implementing policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their sales goals. The Territory Manager will also be charged with collaborating with our corporate and operations teams to help the district to meet or exceed P&L metrics and goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Plans local events and promotions consistent with T-Mobile's marketing initiatives and branding
• Builds a team of two Store Managers and equips them with skills to hire and train employees poised to deliver the
best possible customer experience
• Uses regular meetings with Store Manager to discuss day-to-day operations, upcoming store events and
• Keeps store performance "scorecards," tracking areas such as: operational compliance, team dynamics, store
appearance, customer satisfaction, and a rolling list of improvement areas
• Pinpoints performance gaps, addresses them with a sense of urgency, and escalates serious issues when
• Identifies and addresses gaps in operations compliance and procedures
• Analyzes each store P&L for individual and cross-market performance gaps and opportunity areas
• Recruits, develops, motivates and manages a high-performing team
• Ensures that individual and team sales goals are met or exceeded
• Provides coaching on consultative sales and service on the sales floor during retail hours which includes evenings
and weekends
• Keeps abreast of the rapidly evolving T-Mobile standards and technology
• Ensures the stores remain audit-compliant based on T-Mobile and Verge Mobile standards
• Ensures effective and efficient store operations
• Implements the company’s processes and procedure

Required Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED and 4 years of retail experience
• Associates or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of retail experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Multi – unit store management experience
• Strong track record of individual and team financial performance
• Operational and financial management experience
• Wireless industry experience
• Work varied shifts, seven days per week, may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of retail experience
