At Verge Mobile, Sales Enablement is a vital function with the key goal of increasing sales team performance by improving sales engagement, driving organizational alignment, increasing speed to market, ensuring program alignment, and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Verge Mobile salesforce. The Sales Enablement Manager will act as an integrating role between various sales and back-office roles, including but not limited to Training, Operations, Inventory, Commissions, Finance, and HR. This position will leverage core enablement programs, initiatives, and serve as a dedicated liaison from the corporate team to the sales team for each region. The Sales Enablement group will provide training, follow-up and in-market support to the Field Sales Teams increasing sales productivity and overall operational alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish metrics and objectives for sales enablement and make recommendations for increasing sales productivity and operational improvements
  • Implement the development, delivery and training of effective sales playbooks by Field Sales role in tight collaboration with Field Sales (especially first-line managers), operations, training and leadership.
  • Help create a development program for frontline managers to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, processes and tools required to lead their sales teams effectively.
  • Partner with sales leadership and HR to establish a sales competency and assessment framework to ensure that the needs of salespeople, and their managers, are met.
  • Drive, in a measurable way, significant sales productivity increases for company’s Field Sales roles.
  • Regularly spend time in the field with managers and reps to understand the “field reality” and build sales enablement deliverables to meet their needs.
  • Develop and support an environment of effective cross-channel communications, resulting in simplified messaging that drives results
  • Review financial support items regularly to forecast spend and course correct when necessary.
  • Evaluate schedules and check for proper scheduling level to meet customer service, sales performance, and labor budgets
  • Ensure sales performance and accountability within region through training, development, follow-up, and awareness
  • Review accurate and timely completion of all operational items done at region level

Compensation

We offer a nice blend of a biweekly paycheck along with a monthly commission payout.  The unlimited opportunity is matched with annual performance reviews and additional incentive contest payouts.

Qualifications

  • Direct Field Sales and Field Sales Management experience and proven track record required (quota carrying).
  • Experience creating and implementing successful sales process/methodology/ sales playbook initiatives.
  • Experience building effective field sales on-boarding and sales training programs.
  • Technical ability to support technological evolutions through management and implementation of future sales enablement platforms/programs
  • Ability to create and track metrics which demonstrate constant increases in sales productivity.

 

Qualifications/Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales/sales operations/sales enablement experience.
